Tell me patrick were you defending the status quo and thumbing your nose at northern nationalists along with some of your bullyboy cops. You were probably trained by some lowlife like lugs Brannigan.
Enda Kenny is James Cameron`s Shadow !
Irishfree1916:As a retired Garda Police Detective Special Branch Officer, I am appalled to hear Jerry O'Keffe a retired police chief California praising Gerry Adams. My colleagues have suffered greatly at the hands of this man and his associates over the years. If you knew what Irish Dectectives and Anti-Terrorist sqauads knew about this man over the years you would be shocked. The evidence will come out some day mark my words.
Maybe Enda will apologise for turning his back on the murder of innocent children in the north east. Enda preaches us all to move on and forget the past,he should take a leaf from his own anti-nationalist book
Edna needs to spend last time criticizing or commenting on Mr. Adams, less worrying about his future and more time on jobs, the nation's economy and how to get us out of the hedgerow and back on the lane!
320 years ago the Pope of Rome raised an army to go and put manners on the English king James who had had the audacity to give religious freedom to dissenters, Jews and Catholics. We can spend the rest of our lives giving out about this. Some years ago members of an organisation associated with Gerry Adams murdered many people including Gardai. Gerry Adams and many of his colleagues have moved forward. He took the unprecedented step of apologising for the murder of Jerry McCabe. While I do not like the methodology used by Sinn Fein, I think we should appreciate the efforts they make towards reconciliation.
This from a blueshirt!
maybe Gerry now sees the light artere he got that expensive eye treatment in the USA
If only Edna was as indignant over the murder of Irish-Catholic children by British rubber bullets in the north of Ireland. When are we going to hear an apology for those deaths?
I know Mr.Kenny and he doesn't like it when anyone criticizes him so go easy.
Regarding people who have been imprisoned by illicit courts, one must consider the effects of Post Taumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) when referring to them. I think that also applies to anyone serving on the police department, emergency crews, and especially military personnel. It also applies to people who have suffered physical, mental or sexual abuse. Everyone needs to put their hands down and stop looking for the 'mote in the eye' of their fellow human being. There is enough suffering going on everywhere. Don't add to it.
Irishfree1916 - if you think Adams is a good man, you would not have been accepted into the Irish Gardai. The McCabe family will not accept his apology at this late stage. His behaviour towards Anne MCabe and her children over the years was unacceptable to the majority of Irish people. He needs to GET REAL.
Sinn Fein has it's way of reducing the number of Gardai. Irishfree1916 it's as well you never made it into the Irish Gardai if you think Gerry Adams is a good man. You so don't know him.
I would assume that any ex-Police Chief can spell: "efforts", "officials", transferring", "repelled”, "political", "against", "cared", and “safety”. So are you, Irishfree 1916, a humbug too?
Mr Kenny you waited 17 years to denounce agood man's efferts to ease pain for a damaged family! As a retired Police Officer who discussed with officicials the idea of transfering from being a California Cop of Irish Birth to become a Guard myself I can only be repealed by you making a politicial issue agaist a man of like Mr. Gerry Adams! Get real SIR! If you carred about conditions and safty of our current day Guards it would be under your job Description and better serve my Brother Police Officers and the People of Ireland! Jerry O'Keefe Retired Police Chief California
