A major fundraiser is set to take place on February 15th at the New York Athletic Club in support of the Children's Memorial Research Foundation in Dublin. Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Enda Kenny and US Open golf champion Graeme McDowell will attend.

The Foundation has been deeply involved in Irish pediatric care and dedicated to the improvement of children’s health since 1965. The Foundation's vision is for it to be "To be a leader in creating a culture of giving to children’s health, wellbeing and research that will make a real difference to the health of our children."
It has been confirmed that Taoiseach Enda Kenny will attend the event along with star golfer Graeme McDowell and Senator Eamonn Coghlan. Other Irish celebrities are also expected to attend the dinner which is being billed as a celebration of "The Best of Ireland."
Teneo, the merchant bank and global consulting business founded earlier this year by former U.S. Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland Declan Kelly and longtime counselor to President Bill Clinton Doug Band, is the primary sponsor of the event. Kelly is also serving as Chairman of the fundraiser's Dinner Committee which is responsible for the fundraising efforts.
President Clinton and many others including Padraig Harrington have been very supportive of the event, with President Clinton serving as the Honorary Chairman of the dinner.
