There's one thing for sure, Dame Enda Kenny isn't going to do a damn thing about it. He's a one term Taoiseach who undoubtedly will retire by the next election, thereby securing a nice fat pension AND the same €400,000 expenses making absolutely sure that his wife and daughter are his Secretaries - and people thought this lot of gangsters were going to be 'Honest'!!? roflmao

Michael Martin deserves credit for standing his and the Party's ground to fight the last election against overwhelming odds - when all the other cowardly Party rats - by resigning before the Election, scuttled off to their holes with huge Severence and Pension Packages. He is battling bravely on for what he believes in and knows secretly in his heart that the country will come round again to the Party. He should avoid the immediate 'cut and thrust' of day to day politics and issue a statement that his mission now is to remove all trace of the Quisling traitors who failed Ireland so badly, barring them from ever standing for any public office, suspend their ill-gotten pensions - at least until retirement age, but ideally until the Bailout Loan is repaid in full! I am confident the Electorate will respond to tangible signs that the 'new' party has had a good clear-out and integrity established! - as for Ahern: he is a special case. He should be prized out of his tea-cupboard and along with Biffo Cowan, put against the wall in Kilmainham! My blood is still boiling from hearing his statement on the day the Governmant and the Country collapsed: "I wished somebody'd a tol me tings wer dis bad!". ....Ready... aim...

Why has no journalist thought to ask him what are the names of the two secretaries he is claiming for? I have a suspicion that they don't exist and that Ahern is just claiming to the maximum he can because thats what the system allows. Any journos at Irish Central prepared to ask him the question? He may have on secretary- but even if he has two then their pay scales would be interesting to compare with the amount he is claiming from the Oireachtas for them.

Fianna Fail are now trying frantically to distance themselves from Caesar Bertie Ahern.Who has lost the run of himself. But where were the backbenchers when this was happening.Where was the guy who should have been whispering in his ear "You are but a man Bertie. You are but a man" They were saying Hail Bertie!! Caesar and Dictator.
