ciaradexy never say never,it all depends on the government in power,we should all start an irish revolution,an george is correct it is laughable such a suggestion that mass immigration is good for irelands culture, its the complete opposite, only a fool would think otherwise
Curdexter: Which is the bigger jackass, you or O Cuiv? Probably you, because your Reading Comprehension is at second grade level. I never said Irish will be spoken by the majority of Irish people, only an utter clown such as you would invent such a thing and then "refute" it.
ciara[v]exy! Abair faoi fein leat/Speak for yourself! It's an uncanny experience listening to Dev's grandson speak. Just like his grand-dad, with the County Clare accent, particularly when speaking in Gaelic/Irish. Glad to see he's giving the Europeans the two fingers, like his grandad di with the Engish-British.
Finally, one of our politicians has grown a pair of balls and has spoken up in favour of the ordinary Paddy. Still wont get my vote though Eamo! George, the Irish language will never be spoken by the majority regardless of whether or not we have immigration into Ireland. Get over it.
I don't claim to be an expert on Irish politics, but I formed the opinion that O Cuiv was a clown a few years back. I happened to be in Ireland when he made a speech in which he said that Mass Immigration was helping the Irish language, that Irish people would be shamed into learning Irish because they heard all the foreigners' languages every day. I knew it was infantile garbage when I heard it, and so it has proved to be.
Fair play to him,it was a brave an patriotic move,i never thought id say that about a member of fianna fail, ireland needs to vote NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
It is hard for leaders to follow.
