I do not understand the likes of phlutie and co. Is it ignorance or irrationality that drives their political thinking. Thye seem to live in a world of crazy philosophies,where Gun,God, and a lousy minimum wage takes priority over a health system for all,a good education system and other government policies which are designed to protect the middle classes. they prefer to spread the mantras of the right wing power groups who wish to destroy the middle class. Maybe if phlutie would take a trip to Australia and see how the middle classes are protected!! He may return to the U.S. and fight for justice and what use to be the American way.

This has been proven compellingly to all but the ignorant and the brain-dead stupid. As for ther distribution of wealth, this is what a progressive tax system is all about and for reasons so blindingly obvious that even you, in time, migh comprehend. This system of taxation, with variations, is employed by all democratic societies in the world. In America before this there was no middle class, only a very wealthy few at the top and a vast population of working, struggling poor. This was the era of the company town, mining or railroads, where you worked six day a week and made barely enough to stay alive. It was these conditions that led to labor unions Yes, some unions, especially in the public sector, have gone too far - and their power is now being checked - but understand this, it was the labor movement in America that gave us our middle class, to which you, no doubt, claim to belong.

Trump is a disgrace to the human race. What a piece of work. He passed up an opportunity to simply cut his hair and Mark Cuban would donate a million dollars to a charity of Trumps choice and he didn't do it. His biased and asinine comments have shown him to be in the same boat as Akin, Romney, Mourdock, Father Benedict Groeschel, Ann Coulter etc. He acts like the Fuhrer in the 1930's. Trump speaks of negotiating, but his actions and words are those of a dictator. Although we have the first amendment, most of the world would be happier if Trump the Chump wouldn't exercise it in such an absurd manner.

mayoman, as a fellow Mayo man I a agree with you. The man is a buffoon who has lost credibility with all but the looney right - and has now become an embarrassment, if not an outright liability, to NBC. His days are numbered.

@Frosty38: How about doing the same with the Kenyan. Since Trump is a symbol of free enterprise, as weird as he is, why should someone who is only out for redistribution of wealth want him in the media to embarrass him. There are definite parallels to the national socialism of the 40s.
