Can't the Donald's family tell him how totally "clownish" he has become? I'm beginning to think he has early onset Alzheimer's.

I think he should replace ALL of the sequester cuts. Why didn't he offer to pay for the cuts to WIC, police, firefighters, air traffic controllers, TSA, etc.. I would think that there is alot of stuff being cut that is more important to folks than a White House tour. Ah, but Republican congressmen and women have to explain to rich constituents/supporters why their inaction on the sequester means that his family will not get a tour when they come to Washington this summer. Ouch! What good is all that money I poured into your campaign if I can't get a simple little perk like a tour of the White House when I want it? What do you think I BOUGHT you for?

Thousands can be denied a tour of The Peoples house...but it is to much to ask that The Obama miss one golf game?

You can count on IC to be objective - about as much as you can count on the Taliban to treat women with dignity. @Fran Connor, good post.

One golf trip by The Obama would cover the cost for years....when The Obama plays golf, nobody else plays golf, the entire course is reserved for an hour before and after...the plane ride, the security men the drinks...all adds up to way over the little $74,000. He just doesn't like the unwashed masses in his house.

Your (The IC's)slip is showing again. Couldn't you find a picture of Trump smiling benevolently and Obama scowling? You "report" that sequestration had "significantly more GOP support than Dem support". Have you forgotten whose idea it was in the first place? Ending the WH tours is more childish grandstanding on Obama's part. If he would eliminate just one Hawaii vacation it would pay for the tours for years.

This is the spirit that is necessary and that all peoples of the U.S. should applaud BUT Here's what will happen: If...that is IF he is truly serious ...The offer will be squelched by a mountainous bureaucratic nightmare that will find every available official digging up the law or creating one that disallows a private citizen from following through with a generous act.
