Are you looking for experience in online social networking or need some real-world experience working in a busy online media company? IrishCentral is seeking interns living in the New York region to gain two or three days experience per week in their Manhattan office.
We're looking for talented interns to assume the role as an Online Social Network Representative for the nation's fastest growing Irish web site.
The Social Network Rep will be responsible for interacting with IrishCentral’s social network community to generate more interest in IrishCentral social sites and its content on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Flickr, and more.
Candidates should be enthusiastic and avid participants in social media and internet communities.

-Interacting with online communities, blogs, message boards, online discussion groups, and live chats to generate exposure, publicity and traffic to our social network site.
-Interacting with clients, prospects, sales advisors, and management to identify opportunities.
Get everyone involved for maximum optimization.
-Generate "organic" growth, e.g. involvement with our customers, friends, and our team to build and grow these networks and interest in IrishCentral.
-Personal experience with Twitter and Facebook. Additional experience on Linkedin, Reddit, and StumbleUpon is a plus
-Candidates should have an understanding of online magazines and how they work.
-Experience with web content management systems and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a plus.
