Diverse Muslim population growing in Ireland

Multiculturism does not work. You merely create ghettos. Any immigrant should adopt the culture of the host nation. Immigration is a two way street. If you don't like the culture of the state in which you aspire to live ...... go and emigrate elsewhere. And if this means homogenising your religious beliefs, then do. After all, there is but one God - or so we're told.

tHE Irish people needs to wake up. You are a very small island nation. 40.000.00 Muslims there already. Muslim religion and law are one and the same. Their religion is entertwined with their law. When the second generation of educated Muslims run for Government positions which I am sure they will to represent their people, what then, what happens to democracy and women's issues. Wake up before it is too late. Just look at the mess the present Government has left the counry in. Ireland was suppressed for 800 years by the English and now they are being saddled with huge tax increases which it will take 3 generations to pay off because of disasterous decisions made by their Government. Irish citizens get involved with decisions being made by your Government which eventually affects every single Irish person.

Yes, integration and integrability of foreign immigrants is a delicate matter in every country, and Europe, including Ireland, has a very bad track record of integrating its newcomers.
