The church hierarchy kept sending him for treatment, then letting him loose to reoffend, then back for treatment. What was it, three inpatient hospitalizations - Purdysburn, St. Patrick's, Stroud, with a couple of "retreats" thrown in and outpatient treatment on top of it. Nevertheless he continued and continued to reoffend right up to being carted off to jail in 1994. There is no cure, end of discussion.
