Irish aid agency Concern launches major appeal for Haiti quake victims

This is a truly heart-rending catastrophe in such a poor, destitute nation of 9 million people. Imagine it – almost a whole country with no home to sleep in for the immediate future. We must all contribute something, however small. Perhaps Niall O'Dowd and Amy Feran could set up a site giving site links on IC’s front page dedicated to Haiti’s immediate aid and future recovery and post on it the web addresses of all charitable organisations working in Haiti? Then we can freely choose which organisation we each feel merits our meagre pennies in the vast scale of this disaster.
