Haven't read it but I hope it's better than bloody 'Ulysses'. That might as well have been written in Chinese for all the understanding I got from it.
I am not in a position at the moment to deal with the fidelity of the translation to the original but Dai Congrong definitely has a fine sense of humor ti take on this Sisyphean task! Heartfelt congratulations to the professor.
I can't even begin to imagine what the translator did in order to make Finnegan's Wake readable, much less understandable for any reader.
