It's still not a solid "go." They're holding fundraisers because things like security have to be prepaid or the permits will be yanked.
drunken stupid rowdy idiots, zero toleration ,good heavy fines and 24 hour lock up.minute they start.problem solved once they see there is a price to pay for acting like a stupid moron.
It's a "go" for 11 March thanks to 'Skinny Sheahan' All, however, are admonished to behave themselves. Zero tolerance for alcohol on the route. I'm South-Side born, but grew up on the northwest side. I'll not go to that parade or the downtown one. Instead, I'll watch it on TV and drink the 'Black Stuff at our IAHC and be pick up afterwards by my lovely wife of 40 yrs and driven home.
Kidnapped is the right word. Apparently it used to be a family event. That would be great if it could be a family event again. I suspect Rahm Emmanuel wants to use this event as a test of his merciless new laws on public meetings. He mainly wants to control people like the Occupiers, but this parade could give him the chance to display just how tough Chicago police plan to be. Disrupters will be in for a big surprise.
