While changes need to be made, I hope that Senator Schumer's bill makes it through but given's DC's incompetence in some areas, I doubt it. And to Irish immigrants why not look at Texas and not stay in NY or Boston. Costs are lower for one thing. Look at starting businesses here. We would love to hear English speakers.

And where is the immigration reform for the emigrants to Ireland who had the door slammed in their faces during the boom years? You may find that pleas will fall on deaf ears in the US and rightly so. You forget that US company's are what keep Ireland afloat as it is.
