  so sad for that little girl.Casey's poor parents..say prayers for all involved.. a very sad day. My husband & I looked in to adopting from Ireland.. our friend has two uncle's who are priests over there, he says it just does not happen.. so sad for us.. I suppose you need to be a Hollywood someone to make it happen. We have family over there and they have told family and friends..soo. if one knows anyone who is healthy and making an adoption plan.. there or here.. please let us know.. thanks eileenanded922@yahoo.com

  I don't think this article is researched very well. Casey is not of Irish heritage. Her father's side is Italian and her mother's side is Romanian. She has a bit of a thing about Ireland because she was born close to St Patrick's Day but not on the day so it's a bit illogical. Some people have speculated that Caylee's biological father was possibly Irish but there is no proof to this as no one seem to know who the father is. Casey and her family are a bit strange so this Irish thing is a bit of a mystery. As I said the family is not Irish. I think Casey has eluded to being Irish but then Casey is known for lying or make believe.

  I think the comments left here are good and justified in anger...she walked, simple as that. she is guilty as the day is long I believe. Hell, if my little boy is missing for one minute playing outside I'm freaking out and I sure wouldn't wait a whole f***in month to report it to the police if something happened to him! No adoption agency in their right mind would allow a child near that crazy liar...she is going to face the public next week and her thought of starting fresh is a complete fantasy. she will have to deal with an angry, bitter society that is sick of people like her...i wouldn't be suprised if someone did a Boondock Saints on her. The main thing is that precious little girl Caylee should have had the chance to be a child and be happy, grow up and continue her life. Her own mother took that from her and got away with it on this earth. What a shame! I love all your comments people, it shows that you all have a good heart for it to affect you all this way.   Babies don't have "accents" - they're babies they don't talk yet. She'd be adopting a "tot" and it's a leap but I'm thinking she might not meet the character requirements for an adoption - babies or tots.

  If Casey is truly guilty of murder and was acquitted.Then there was a miscarriage of justice.It only proves that mistakes can be made and justice is not always served.It also goes to prove that the truly innocent can be found guilty of murder and unless new evidence comes to light an innocent person can be put to death in Florida.The power of life or death is much to heavy a burden to place on ordinary human beings.Talk is cheap until that burden is placed on your shoulders.The death penalty is to extreme as it leaves no room for error.There is always the chance of error.If you are a well adjusted person self doubt will scream very loud.This jury might have given her life imprisonment if it wasn't for the death penalty.Instead a likely child murderer now goes free.

Justice was not served to Caylee. Nor any justice for George or Cindy either. She is a monster! And if she thinks this is over she has another thought coming.   scary thought. instead of adopt which she should not qualify, I'm afraid Casey will get pregnant again, hope not. Maybe the Caylee Law will fix part of the verdict problem, part 2 of that law could say that she would not ever have custody of another child as an unfit mother. On the news they say Casey will be a millionaire from this with a book deal, etc., then some slime will marry her and she will have another kid. A sad story and an even sicker future.

  I don't think a convicted felon would be allowed to adopt any child, but I also didn't think she'd be acquited either. What really made me realize that she is an uneducated moron was "I want to adopt an Irish Baby ACCENT and ALL" what does she think, that an Irish accent is genetic?   She'd never be approved to adopt a child with her criminal record of check forgery and her compulsive lying, let alone the fact that a child is dead - hers. Casey's a dysfunctional, narcissistic, compulsive liar and it's all about her. I wouldn't approve her for pet adoption, let alone a child. Casey's in la-la land. She's got big problems ahead of her. She's going to have to figure out how to make a living and pay back the thousands of $$ that she owes. I think hell will freeze over before she's approved for much of anything, let alone adoption. She may have beaten the rap in court, but her child is dead, and she hasn't fooled anyone about her part in that death. No loving, innocent mother goes partying for 31 days when her child is missing. That says it all for me.

  Thankfully there are strict residency requirements to adopt from within ireland (the murdering idiot would never be allowed in); thankfully there are less than 100 children available in Ireland per year now for adoption; and thankfully I was part of the first wave of children sent from Ireland to the U.S. for adoption (1940s-1970s), so I'm too old for the murdering mess that is Casey Anthony.   There are so many Irish people in Ireland trying to adopt Irish babies why would she even think she could adopt one? No-one in Ireland in their right mind would even consider someone who had been tried for murdering their child. Their may not ahve been enough evidence to prove beyond reasonable doubt that she did BUT that does now make her innocent all of a sudden. And as for the Irish accent - I am so proud of my Irish accent and my Irish values which is something Casey Anthony doesn't seem to have much of!!!!
