Pearse was only one generation removed from indigenous Irish speakers on his mother’s side.

Pádraig Ánraí Mac Píaráis/Patrick Henry Pearse had English blood surging through his republican veins, though pumped by an Irish heart. But the original British were the Welsh, whom despised those invading low country Angles with a passion, before their country was subsumed by those hungry ghosts of other people's real estate. Like father like son. Pearse's father was rightly known as a highly cultivated man. His biography generally tends to be understated. All prodigies tend to have unique fathers.

Poor old wounded ego.WoundedKnee we on this site all know that you are the infamous George Dillon.Yes,remember him, that posted derogatory bile in the past about Irish nationals.Sorry George, you like to address us with your plastic language as Oirish. Now you are claiming to be an Irish republican yet you offer words of comfort and support to foreign british loyalist/unionists that force their marches down the streets of our towns ,yes including Dungannon town. You have climbed into bed with anglo-norman another piece of foreign composite, one who is british but claims to be an Irishman as well, being silly is one thing,George, there is no excuse for being down right stupid.Your brand of Irish republicanism makes genuine Irish Americans with Irish republican values look stupid George.Run along now Wounded , put on your nice green Jacket ,pink pants yellow shirt and green tie with white shamrock and act out your Irish fantasy somewhere else, you ain,t no Irish republican, dude.By the way Woundedlegs my friend from an Gaeltacht proof read your attempt at as gaeilge, and of course laughed his head off before uttering the words we all associated you with.Plastic Paddy. You can,t fool the Oirish, dude.

In the quite unlikely case that his story about Dungannon is true, Warrenpint's yarn would represent foreign migrants preventing Irish people from walking down a street in their own country. As an Irish Republican I find that obnoxious. Of course as a sectarian bigot Warrenpint thinks his (probably invented) story is great.
