And I totally disagree with the person who thinks there is no violence in Northern Ireland -- Obviously that person has never been there and knows nothing about the 30 year Civil War called "The Troubles." Lotus Eaters, indeed. That's the attitude that kept the Civil War going. Until you can speak from knowledge and intelligence, don't speak at all.

As an Irish American citizen I totally agree with slainte9 about Arizona. Its time the USA cleaned up their act.

It's hypocritical for Irish Central to publish articles about calls to end the violence in Northern Ireland while at the same time claiming there isn't any in Arizona. Compared to Arizona, violence is non-existent in Northern Ireland. It's the land of the Lotus Eaters.
