The main point the media is hiding is that this was a racial attack by two young black thugs on Bailey. Bailey didn't fight back because he didn't want to get into trouble at his school because he was an honor student. Obeying the rules cost him his life when these two apes hit him four to five times in the face. The proscuter in the case Whelan never pressed charges in the case even after Bailey was in a coma and the event was recorded on Videotape by the school. Finally after the boy has died, a prosecution is being considered. The latest nonsense from this coward Whelan is that is it will take two weeks for the autopsy report which is total bull$ht. Having a photographer friend in the field and in law enforcement, preliminary charges could have already been placed against these lowlife gangbangers considering the autopsy was performed on Tuesday. My guess is the yellow belly prosecuter is afraid to pursue the case because these to animals that committed the crime are black. How many more attacks on white americans (in this case an irish boy) will be tolerated before we begin to fight back?????

what can you say about a country that has to screen pupils for guns and knifes, that gives access to accadamia based on your ability to be a knuckle dragging neanderthal football player, its a violent gun ridden society with gang riddled schools, nothing is going to change anytime soon.As for a two day suspension, hysterically laughable.

Bailey has been in my prayers and I hope and pray he has a full recovery. I now realize the IrishCentral staff doesn't do very much research when they run a story or they would have had more of the facts on this tragic incident. Bailey's mother is conspicuously absent from the report. Bailey lives with his mother. Just saying there may be a lot more to this story than what Rob O'Neil wants everyone to believe. Please keep Bailey in your prayers.

Got to also wonder if he is or was perceived to be gay. Psychs say gay kids are eg 4 x more apt to be be suicidal then str8 kids due to the bullying they get.............My best friend is a 28 year old gay guy whose xtian right wing mother drove him to drink and two attempts at suicide - one of which his parents were told he wouldnt survive but he did..........He doesnt have a mean bone in his body, nicd guy, works 2 jobs and goes to school also pt time. >>>>>his father tossed his bigoted mother out of the house and divorced her. Good riddance.

More like 6 to 8 % of the priests are abusers. The german pope who helped to hide these vile crimes hired a spinmaster from fox news, and is now attacking SNAP,
the people know better. Catholocism in Ireland is all but dead due to the christian brothers crazies who raped and beat kids in orphanges and reform schools and used them as slave labor...............Katieberk your entitled to support the church of the hidden molestation of children by your sex starved power hungry (like prisons) molesters. Dont complain when you end up in purgatory or hell - no one will be listeneing except the devil.

I'm praying for this child. I'm
horrified that another kid could
be suspended for only two days
for the serious damage that he
has done to Bailey O'Neil. That violent boy needs some pyschological treatment before he hurts anyone else. Why are the congress so impotent to do anything about juvenile violence? People are so worried about the suffering of an embryo - what about the pain and suffering that this young honor student is going through?

Get a life, PhlutlePhan.... you're as bad as the writers at IC, Catholic Bashing!! Why did you have to even bring that up about sex abuse scandals. Want to know the true stats on that? Well, a well know Jewish businessman researched and found that 10% of Protestant clergy were involved in sexual abuse while (and read this) 1.7 percent of Catholic clergy. Try Protestant bashing if you're gonna do it (which would be as bad). But, since ALL media are liberal, that will never be know. Now, having said that, bullying in any school, if horrible and should be handled in a more profound, strict manner. The way it's handled now is horrible.

There is no doubt of the "violent turn" in American schools. You only need look to the forced busing in Boston schools. The idea was to give equal opportunity to everyone. Instead, "bubble gum" offenses turned into gun possession issues. The Catholic schools then became locked in sex abuse scandals. It is all about freedome for the individual instead of an ordered and disciplined society. We have turned the euphoric promise of JFK into the detiorating rot of American education which is socialist in nature. It is all about the philosophy of Hyman Rickover versus the lack of common sense of John Dewey.

"We take bullying seriously." With a two day suspension? When the attacked kid is fighting for his life? American schools do NOT take bullying seriously. The numbers of kids (particularly LGBT kids, statistics says) who are targeted and abused here is a national disgrace. Adults who condone discrimination against adults look the other way even when it involves kids.
