I don't think many people are laughing at the dire straights of this global recession. It's not just Irish people who were hoodwinked by corruption in the financial system. If we don't realize that we're all in this together and resolve to help each other out, starting on the smallest scale, on upward, then we will have committed ourselves to repeating the same pattern of abuse of power that is really underlying our problems.

i would have no problem with Ian paisley being prime minster of all ireland,if he was doing a good job. a catholic.
