Article mentions he "wanted to apply for a license" -- so did he? If he has license, how is he in trouble? If he doesn't have license -- why is he surprised he's in trouble for proceeding without one? And as someone else pointed out, don't yap on all about a poison garden (like that's really why he planted the stuff) that children love and then say it's out of public view and can't be accessed by visitors. He's just annoyed he got caught and may be held accountable.
Smokin' dope is probably healthier than kissing an old stone that MILLIONS of other people have kissed. Who knows where their mouths have been!! YUUCCKKK! I'd have to be stoned to kiss that stone---and I am Irish!! Here's another thought----If the Public can't see the Plants for 'Educational' purposes, why grow them?? Hhhmmm???
I guess if he wants to start a drug gang, he will not be allowed because he is English extraction, would not been Irish born qualify him for dealing drugs to Irish children. Then it would not be English exploitation of the Irish, just the Irish doing a job on their kind.
Sir Charles Colthurst is obviously being framed by the gardai so that the state can finally reclaim the castle for the republic.Nevertheless, he is english and quilty.
