I can't state too much experience of O'Reilly.I did find a clip of him on youtube getting the victims and the perpetrators of the Malmedy massacre the wrong way round both disrespectful and amusing in equal measure, is he usually that much of an arse.

Floggings (whippings) Half-hangings (hanging a person until they were almost dead to extract information) Pitch-capping (pouring hot tar on a person’s head before setting it on fire) The newspaper of the United Irishmen, the Northern Star was banned. Spies and informers were used to identify the leaders. O'Reilly fits the mould as does Hannity, American-born DeValera, Heaney, Tony O'Reilly a knighted pUKer.

Like the rest of the Fox tragics O'Reilly is a cupboard racist. He dresses up his racism in a cloak in which he calls himself "A traditionalist". Bully O'Reilly tried to pigeonhole Powell so Reilly could play his racist card.

Alisaann - calm down before you have a heart attack. So you wish to silence opposition to your personal, entrenched opinions and views? Nice. Typical liberal. Silence the dissenting opinion while claiming freedom of speech; talk about rights except when those rights are not in keeping with lefty philosophy (no gun rights and no right to life for the unborn). Hypocrites!

Bill O’Reilly is a self absorbed person with a very stunted view of people different from himself. After eating dinner at a famed Harlem restaurant O'Reilly told a radio audience he "couldn't get over the fact" that there was no difference between the black-run Sylvia's and other restaurants."It was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun," he said. "And there wasn't "any kind of craziness" at all." (How pathetic) So Colin Powell didn't have a chance to be seen as just a man who had succeeded and done quite well for himself and his country.

Powell slipped into his true mode of hiding behind an African-American identity. Bill O only called a "spade a spade". As Jack Nicholson said in "A Few Good Men", the truth, you can't handle the truth. Turns out that Colin lad has a "Sitting Bull" mentality of wioping out Custer at the Little Big Horn. It's all about revenge and forming alliances with gays and lesbians to subvert the country that "the white man built". You can see the "war paint" all over his face. That's the real purpose of "taking away the guns" and reforming the military with gays and lesbians.

Colin Powell is the ESSENCE of what the Republican Party was and must be again if it ever hopes to regain its position as a governing force. Fools like Bill O'Reilly WILL continue to try to marginalize the General because they cannot answer his solid positions on issues. Had he not bowed to pressure from his wife who had possibly legitimate fears for the fate, a decade ago, of the first African American to be elected President, he could easily have had the Republican nomination and the election - and our history, so blighted by the two illegitimate "Bush-the-Lesser" terms at home and abroad, would have been so much different. After his time as Secretary of State, loyally defending the indefensibly incomplete and simply false "intelligence" and garbage policy, launching wars without adequate consultation with and support from long term allies handed him by his boss, his legacy is undeniably tarnished, but responsible leaders still listen to the man because (unlike O'Reilly) when he speaks, it is almost always on positions well thought out and supported by the best evidence.

Since BHO is only half black, then he could argue his other half has done quite well with his economic policies, which is clearly the fact. The wealth gap has expanded under his watch, and other than black entertainers and athletes, few other blacks have benefitted much.
