Bill O'Reilly is merely Rober Ailes' pitbull. He's paid to attack, and that's what he does. And he does it well. And that's why he's a multi-millionaire. "Fair and balanced," or any attempt to arrive at the truth are irrelevant at Fox Propaganda. Rumor, gossip, inunendo, sleaze, and blatant, outright lying are the norm at Faux. After all, that's precisely what its right-wing viewers crave.
KatieMurphy and seanomelb: Thank you both for your sane comments. They are a much-needed tonic to Phan's inane and disturbed diatribes.
News goes in, Fantasy comes out. You can't explain that!
The passive aggressive anti black GOP will never forgive all those whitey's who voted in a black president. The likes of phlutiephan and boring borefield have no concept of political systems and how they work. They soak up the Fox/GOP talking points and recite them parrot fashion on IC,the ignorant fools.
maryosullivan Well said and true. Anyone with a brain realizes that Fox cherry picks the news to fit their anti Obama, pro corporation narrative and by doing so they have greatly didved this country. They aim their style (bimbo's in high heels) and content at people who just want their bias reinforced rather than objective facts. I truly hope after the Murdoch investigation concludes in London it will begin in the U.S. and look into the dealing of FOX and News Corp in the states. I'ts amazing just how ofter the Fox verbage shows up in IC comments "street thug" "radical socialist" ect......
Anyone who watches Bill O'Reilly for more than one minute would see he is equally fair and harsh on all sides of an issue. Most of his critics really don't watch his show and just follow the lefty crowd in disparaging him. I actually think he is leaning farther left in many areas than in years past. As far as Katie's comments, I think she has blinders on or is much too young and uniformed about previous dictators in history. Obama is the scariest leader we have ever had in the US and I have seen quite a few, good and bad.
KatieMurphy you really need meds. Your mind is so distorted it's frightening . Obama and his henchmen are out to destroy America as we know it. Take a trip to Germany, visit a few camps and listen to the Historians tell of the horror that lunatic wrought on the Jews. Can it happen here, you bet
PhlutiePhan says a couple interesting things........... (obamas a "street thug" who will resort to any method to remake the country in the mode of radical socialism which includes the destruction of religion and the liberation of women from the constraints of the family. First of all he wants to keep women and pregnant and in the kitchen. All thats missing is barefoot and he'd be telling women to be like Islamic women are treated. (will he next deny them the right to drive?) Next he calls our president a thug. If anyones a thug its Bush Jr, who on his watch let wall street banks steal / destroy 15 trillion of family net worth - a whole years GNP As for "radical socialism", hes probably referring to the affordable health care act. Birth control or not, the ACA is about medical care for all, and thats really about saving life. Also if you dig deep in history, you will find that radical socialism was one of the war cries of the Ku Klux Klan in the 1920w and 1930s. We have to wonder which hate group PHlutiphan gets his info from, eg the FRC, headed by Tony Perkins - a known pal of Kluxer david duke (see wikipedia) Phan fits under the adage - by his works we will know him. Phan is a mindless robot for the worst of the worst in america. It appears that the hate groups like FRC and AFA are trying to take over IC. I'm not sure about free speech - it has its good points and its bad points. For example of the bad, it allowed a maniac to take over germany in 1933 by popular vote.
I hope they investigate Peter King for leaking the Yemen bomb operation. It was lucky we got our operative out safely but we can't use him again. Most leaks have traditionally come from congressmen and women playing the big shot with information gained at required briefings. The Times reporters said their information came from a multitude of interviews but that none were with anyone in the White House.
O'Reilly is right on. The Obama administration has trumped Nixon with it's security leaks and it's refusal to appoint an independent investigator while insisting that the agency can investigate itself. meanwhile Obama's Attorney general Eric Holder(nor Obama) still has not taken responsibility for the outrageous "fast and Furious" debacle that resulted in the death of Border Agent Brian Terry and numerous civilians while stonewalling Senate investigatory. Sounds like O'Reilly has made a sound analogy.
Why does Irish Central keep giving this moron time in this magazine, surely there are other more intellegent news makers, This guy is a total idiot and doesn't deserve the time of day.
McNamara31 if you want the"no spin zone" or "fair and balanced" on cable TV watch "judge Judy" you're not gonna get it from O'Reilly. LOL
Well Bill you work for one of Nixon's biggest living cronies, GOP operative Roger Ailes. Why don't you do a "Fair and Balanced" report on that fact.
O'Reilly!! The darling of the the misinformed clones who watch the discredited Fox anti Obama channel.Thier boss (Murdoch) is half way to jail for lying to a British parliamentary inquiry.Their standard bearer (Murdoch) is an example of the dirt dredging Fox/GOP channel.
To "Mary", the truth is not racist. O'Reilly is entitled to his opinion to be placed against other news outlets. In psychology, it is called "projection". You see in others what in reality is within yourself. I am a middle of the road Navy vet Democrat who votes Republican. If you "take off the king's clothes", you find nothing more than a "street thug" who will resort to any method to remake the country in the mode of radical socialism which includes the destruction of religion and the liberation of women from the constraints of the family.
