Bill O’Reilly calls Jon Stewart “obtuse” over comments on the loss of “traditional America” - VIDEO
Wally and the Beave's fictional world is still crashing down all around O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly hasn't enjoyed the recent election results, but more than that he really hasn't enjoyed being ribbed by Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart lately.
According to the Huffington Post, in a blistering response on his 'Reality Check' segment on Monday night, the Fox News pundit angrily blasted Stewart for lampooning him for 'lamenting' that 'traditional Americans' did not reelect President Obama and therefore, 'traditional America as we knew it is gone.'
O'Reilly has laid Mitt Romney's poor showing on November 6 at the feet of voters he apparently considers 'non-traditional Americans' - blacks, women, Latinos and gays - and the successful coalition they formed to keep him from the White House.
Asked by Stewart to clarify what on earth he was talking about, O'Reilly fired back.
'Well here's what I'm talking about, Mr. Obtuse,' O'Reilly snarled. Voters for Obama 'want a large government that spends heavily on entitlements because that reduces so-called income inequality.'
O'Reilly, a multimillionaire, didn't deny income inequality was a reality, he only lamented that the administration would do anything about it.
'They wanted equality for gays in the marriage arena,' he fumed, further chastising Obama voters.
'They want unfettered abortion, with no parental notification for minors. They want a one world foreign policy that gives other nations equal status to America. Here's a bulletin to those pinheads at Comedy Central: 'Those are not traditional positions!' Clear about this?'
Non traditional Americans apparently want America to fail economically, militarily and culturally, when they’re not busy getting gay married and having abortions, O’Reilly inferred.
O'Reilly later added that he was not lamenting anything, saying that he was in a 'no lamenting zone.' But that wasn't true last week when O'Reilly was lamenting the symbolic collapse of the fictional white picket fence world of Wally and the Beave after he was deeply startled by the election results.
