Speaking about the murder of 30 people in Afghanistan on "The O'Reilly Factor" Bill O'Reilly called said "Everyone involved this story is disgusting". O'Reilly condemned Pastor Terry Jone's campaign to burn the Koran, calling him an "insane Christian".

During his "Taking Points Memo" O'Reilly spoke in response to Pastor Terry Jones' campaign to burn the Koran last summer. Although O'Reilly did not take blame away from the killers in Afghanistan and President Hamid Karzai he said that the blame also lies in the hands of Pastor Terry Jones.

O'Reilly also noted that "Fox News and most other media ignored it” until Karzai made a fuss about it. He called Terry Jones an "idiot" who "has blood on his hands” and said “Karzai, simply a villain.”

The host refused to make this a matter of free speech an angle many have avoided with relation to the Terry Jones issue and called one commentators argument that the Bible was less sacred than the Koran "ridiculous".

O'Reilly concluded by asking "How much longer can we try to save the Afghan people from themselves?”

Hitler, Stalin, and Mao were atheists. You have got to be kidding.
Become an atheist we have no books to burn just a sense of justice and responsibility and respect for all.
This "pastor' (sic), KNEW in advance his actions would bring death & destruction. If you want to burn the Koran, do so, but don't broadcast same, just for your own 'monent of fame.' He does, in fact, have blood on his hands and he will pay for his 'knowingly willful evl deed, done ONLY for his own glory... But that is between Yahweh/God and him. We the SHEEPle actually don't care. We remain useless against every 'Form of Evil' and agsinst our own PoliticalScumBag's. (Read Deut. 17:15 & 28:43) Pray
I agree that Terry Jones is an idiot for what he did, but at the same time how many times have we had to watch as our beloved stars & stripes has been burned in some Mid-East country because they think we are evil and should all be dead?
I think this falls well within the 'shouting fire in a crowded theatre' exception to free speech. Terry Jones is a bloody idiot.
Again all the hatred and distortions. O'Reilly was right on, except that the pastor is about as Christian as Oliver Cromwell. But what I don't in these posts is a clear condemnation of radical Islam...period. Rampaging and killing because some idiot burned a copy of a book is an insane distortion of what any civilized person would call the word of God. The rather stupid diversion from the real issues in this story to a tirade against the Roman Catholic Church is classic rhetoric from an ignorant person.
WHERE'S MY OTHER COMMENT?
PEOPLE DIE...SO DID ALOT OF THE ABUSED CHILDERN DIE OR WISH THEY WERE DEAD,FROM THE LIKES OF NUNS, BROTHERS AND PRIESTS. A CHURCH THAT PERPETUATES EVIL OVER MANY MILLENIUM(S) IS MUCH WORSE THAN ONE STUPID PASTOR!!!WHEN ARE THE ROMAN CATHOLICS GOING TO RISE UP AND SAY "NO MORE'???????
I like O'Reilly!! I REALLY DO AND LISTEN EVERY DAY. The only thing I don't like is that he considers himself to still be a good Roman Catholic, which does not follow after the Good Shepard. The RCC IS anything but followers of Jesus Christ. I have been blogging for ten years about the CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY that the RCC has committed against our precious children, marginalized adults, and the handicapped. The nuns, priests, and brothers have sexually and premediatedly abused each AND EVERY ONE one. Each priest, brother or nun must groom his victim with the stuff the child would never get, NORMALLY.(GOTTA KEEPTHEM IN LINE) When they (the childern) realize what's going on, they get dropped by the cleric. Then the vicious cycle begins all over again... Orielly, you should do some research on your church. If you stay in it, you're worse than any pastor that burns the Koran. One cleric in their life as a "Holy Person of God " can sexually abuse thousands of unsuspecting souls. THINK ABOUT IT!!
The pastor is an idiot - a bigoted, stupid idiot. There's nothing wrong with the Koran. Just the way some mindless minority of individuals choose to interpret it.
O'Reilly, Do you really think you are A NEWSPERSON it isn't from themselves they need to be save it's from us they need to be saved
Terry Jones was warned the first time that he planned to burn The Koran that it could lead to bloodshed, and that his actions could very well place American troops in Afghanistan in danger. Yet he went ahead anyway, and people were killed. His stupidity and grandstanding for attention for himself, and his shrinking congregation is reprehensible. Almost everyone agrees with this. And most people would also agree with Bill O'Reilly that President Karzai is a corrupt thug, and that his idiotic actions lead to the deaths of his own people, which he should have known would happen when he began discussing the Koran burning so publicly. However, we should also not forget that it was the very same Mr. O'Reilly that continually derided and demonized the Kansas abortion doctor, George Tiller for years on Fox; referring to him as "Tiller the Killer". We all know what happened; a right-wing religious lunatic, inspired and urged on in part by O'Reilly's hate speech, murdered Dr. Tiller. O'Reilly needs to heal himself first.
In total agreement with bill O'reilly for the first time ever!
I agree with Bill O’Reilly
the car wrecker attracter But the White House biographies offer an unusual history lesson. Some are examples of blatant boosterism and outdated scholarship. Others are oddly selective or politically incorrect. George W. Bush's entry, for example, makes no reference to Hurricane Katrina or the economic collapse of 2008, but does find room for the names of his dogs. Ronald Reagan's biography does not mention the Iran-Contra scandal, which made headlines during his second term. Gerald Ford's 1974 pardon of Richard Nixon is noted in a few words, with nothing about the fierce criticism it received. Vietnam is included on Lyndon Johnson's page but not his fateful decision to send ground troops. Thomas Jefferson is introduced as a "powerful advocate of liberty" who "inherited some 5,000 acres of land," but is not identified as an owner of slaves. Andrew Jackson's page says virtually nothing about his advocacy of slavery or harsh treatment of American Indians. The life of William Henry Harrison, a military commander who became the ninth president, is narrated as a valiant crusade against Indians
