Give O'Reilly credit for admitting that he was wrong. Take away points for following the Bush alibi that "Everybody told us that he had WMD. We were wronged by faulty intelligence." Faulty intelligence is a good metaphor for the contents of a 'conservative's" head these days.

Amazing, now the conservatives have figured out that going to war was a HUGE mistake, they are slowly but surely changing their tone. I guess since Bush has faded into no where it is no longer "UnAmerican" to disagree with his administration. Six years ago O'Reilly would have never been caught speaking against the Bush Policy.

Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes who runs Fox, are trying to make subtle changes to be viewed as more moderate basically because they know they can't use the same strategy of "total smear and demeaning" that they used during the last election. Also many of their props like birth certificate issue, has been shown to the American people as the lies they were from the very beginning.
