@conorsmom - Just when you think that G.W. has disappeared, he pops up again. I just saw a news report that he had been planning a book signing trip to Canada and that the Canadian Government had been asked to arrest him and turn him over to the world court for trial on war crimes. At first I was skeptical but the report continued saying that he had cancelled a book signing tour of Switzerland last year for fear of arrest by the Swiss. Apparently Rumsfeld and Cheney are also landlocked for the same reason.
Give O'Reilly credit for admitting that he was wrong. Take away points for following the Bush alibi that "Everybody told us that he had WMD. We were wronged by faulty intelligence." Faulty intelligence is a good metaphor for the contents of a 'conservative's" head these days.
Amazing, now the conservatives have figured out that going to war was a HUGE mistake, they are slowly but surely changing their tone. I guess since Bush has faded into no where it is no longer "UnAmerican" to disagree with his administration. Six years ago O'Reilly would have never been caught speaking against the Bush Policy.
Leno has a good knack for deflating super egos!
Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes who runs Fox, are trying to make subtle changes to be viewed as more moderate basically because they know they can't use the same strategy of "total smear and demeaning" that they used during the last election. Also many of their props like birth certificate issue, has been shown to the American people as the lies they were from the very beginning.
