Bill Moyers took time out of his American Public Television distributed show “Moyers & Company” to set the record straight on what Bill O’Reilly had said during his debate, named “The Rumble”, with satirical host Jon Stewart, in Washington.

Moyers politely went through a list of points which Bill O’Reilly got wrong about him.

One of these was a comment on O’Reilly’s prop, a sign reading, “Which is NPR getting our money?” surrounded by pictures of Moyers.

Correcting him, Moyers said, “If you had grown up watching Sesame Street, you'd know your alphabet by now. And you would know NPR is not PBS. I'm on television, just like you. Well, not exactly like you. You reside in an alternate reality, where the truth is as elusive as a moonbeam and facts as alien as little green men with bug eyes."

The host also pointed out that his show does not getting any funding from PBS.

He continued, “Big Bill's whole debate with Jon Stewartwas like that.

"Even when he offered up a morsel of praise for anyone, he tripped over the facts."

Moyers also showed footage of O’Reilly praising the journalist from Telemundo. What he meant to say was Univision. His TV critic pointed out, “Those two are competitors. Suppose I mixed up your Fox News Channel with, say, the Cartoon Network."
