Belfast City Council officials abused by ‘Save Lennox’ supporters

What a bunch of head cases. Lets see unwarranted search and seizure, false testimony, animal cruelty, secret kennel, denial of any rights or visitation to family, etc. And they have the gall to compplain about "abuse"-the lot of them need to be prosecuted for the above and kicked out of office. Is this 21st Century Belfast or 1940s Nazi Germany-didn't you fight those guys?

God, its like they dont get it. Can all the world be wrong in thinking that is a horrible situation? They are just concerned for their safety??? Have they considered at all, at the injustise they have done to this dog, the family, as well as all the supporters by withholding, false testimoney, not being consistant with returning other dogs, but not this one? Can't they see we are not stupid and see right thru this as personal vendetta against this family at the expense of an innocent animal? It blows me a way that they are concerned for THEIR safety. Good god, the BCC is blind, arrogant, corrupt, narcisistic, vain, obviously not concented with animal welfare. But they like that title lord though. They better be concerned how the Lord is going to judge them.

So! If if this is true and some members of the Save Lennox cause were rude, who can blame them? This is a great injustice in the world, not just their little personal space. They have committed crimes against human and animal kind. Have any of them been held in a hole for two years? Have any of the council missed a meal? Been left all alone? The answer is NO! Lennox is the victim here. He is the one who is suffering. He is the one WE the PEOPLE are concerned about. Not some snot nosed council member who got their feelings hurt! Lennox is the only innocent in all of this!

TO Belfast City Council Free Lennox Dont judge a book by its cover even if it was a pitt breed it doesnt make him aggresive, people do that and quite clearly his owners are responsible dog owners and this dog has no bad publicity. Take a look at what Caear Milan say about the breed he rescues them and says there is no such thing as a bad dog just a bad owner. Anyway there is no proof this is a pit and so regardles you should let him go back to his home. Poor bloody dog doesnt have a clue whats going on, he must be so scared and alone and its all your fault. If this dog had attacked a person or other dogs or been used for fighting then i may understand but this case should not stand up in court and the Judges should know that. You are all corrupt and too pigheaded to back down. Mind you you have a thing about killing dogs in Ireland dont you. Like the greyhounds who dont perform get hung or drowned, perhaps you should turn your attention to that and stop picking on the innocents. You are just BULLYS. I hope I have made myself clear. Perhaps everyone should Boycott Ireland and that doesnt seem fair on those people in Ireland who dont agree with your decision LET HIM LIVE AND SEND HIM HOME.

What on God's Green Earth are you doing? Let this boy go!!!!!! This is horrible. He never did anything wrong. Just let him GO! We can bring him to the USA until the family can be reunited if they would like. PLEASE DO NOT KILL THIS DOG. MILLIONS OF ANIMAL LOVERS ETC. I am a christian and I see evil in what you are doing and so does God. Please God help them to please set this boy free. This dog has done nothing wrong but suffered for the past 2 years for nothing. I live in the USA and my Great Grandparents, Henry and Mary Ella Kelly came over to the USA on the boat back in the day. I was raised to love all 'no matter how they looked and no matter their status'. My Grandpa Kelly was the only Veterinarian in my hometown back in the day and a full-blooded, good Irish man. I know he is rolling over in his grave about now. Victoria Stilwell has offered to take him, The Cesar Milan Foundation is intervening, Linda Blair, actress, The Barbi Twins just to name a few. Name the price, whatever it takes...I will book a ticket and go and get him!!!!!!!

I am ashamed to be of Irish decent...my mother is from Kilcormac, a small town near Dublin...maybe they have more of a heart outside of Northern Ireland? What is with you bunch? You have dug your heels in because nobody is going to prove your decision to put to death a dog to had the misfortune of being born nothing more than the "wrong breed", (according to you), wrong? The world is watching and you look like the biggest fools on earth. It is sickening that you all, The Belfast City Council, are making a poor animal an example of a petty, discriminatory law...the Irish have centuries of prosecution from other countries as well as within their own...now you are turning to animals to persecute??? How forward thinking and progressive you all are!!! (that is sarcasm in case you missed it).. You are ALL disgusting human beings and your country has become is a pitiful example of what not to be among the British Isles...I wouldn't spend my American $$ on a trip to this mentally crippled Island if you sent me a free ticket!!!!!!!!!!!! And if the Belfast City Council wants to run with the big boys and make horrible decisions likes this, they better man up and grow a set. All flustered by the backlash from their ignorant decision…I thought the Irish were a bit tougher than this? Maybe that only applies to the Irish Americans.

I am absolutley disgusted by this! The world is watching Belfast! May the warden that seized Lennox have nightmares for the rest of your misserable life!!! Stop crying about being abused and RESIGN! YOU WARDENS ARE THE FACE OF BCC, IF YOU DONT LIKE THE BACKLASH RESIGN OR SUCK IT UP!!!

I am saddened and horrified by the progress of this case. An innocent dog who had never hurt anyone, ripped from his home and loving family, confined for two years in a secret location while that family fought to get him back, has lost his last chance to escape the unjust order to destroy him for the crime of being potentially dangerous because he looks like a Pit Bull type. And the members of the Belfast City Council grouse about being harassed? Injustice is alive and well and at home in the Belfast City Council. They have no sympathy from me. I do feel sorry for the owners of Lennox, and all the other dog owners unlucky enough to live in Belfast.

Classic deflection: label legitimate critism and calls for change as "abuse". That simply shows how weak the Belfast City Council's position is. The truth is evident and the world has been watching. Physical evidence shows that the judges' decision is UNjust. My colleagues and I spend travel dollars several times a year, and we will be boycotting Belfast from now on. Shame on you Belfast City Council and Chief Justice Declan Morgan. Your horrendous and ignorant harm of an innocent dog and the family who loves him will be remembered, world-wide.

To Sirpeter - If abusing dogs is their job, then they are doing a good job. Anyone with intelligence knows that they were not honest. This dog has suffered at the hands of humans and for the life of me, I don't know why some of these big name agencies don't step in. To say all pitbulls are aggressive (and he is not even considered a pitbull) is just as ignorant as saying all Blacks are criminals, all Mexicans are gardeners or farmworkers and all Whites are guntoting patriotic apple pie eating hillbillies.

The Belfast City Council and the dog wardens are pompous and arrogant. They have behaved shamefully and in a manner not suited to public officials. How do they expect decent, caring people to react when they've committed such an evil, inhumane act? They have lied through their teeth about Lennox's disposition, and also about the type of dog that he is. The wardens didn't even have the right address on the warrant when they went to Lennox's home. Lennox and his family are the victims of abuse, and the BCC and its wardens are the perpetrators of a terrible crime.

Hmm, let's see. Lennox has been locked up for two years now, he has a neck injury, a foot injury and his hair is falling out in patches...not to mention that the judges have believed testimony from an inexperienced paid rat...and BCC wants people to feel sorry for them for being "abused" by supporters because they've received nasty emails and letters???? Pathetic!
