Married to a solicitor, Quinn refers in her complaint to "selective editing" and "factual inaccuracies." She is currently involved in litigation between the bank and her family.
A spokesperson for RTE confirmed to the Sunday Independent that the Quinn family complaint is "being dealt with" but made no further comment.
RTE is currently under investigation over the massive libel pay-out to Fr Reynolds while beaten Presidential candidate Sean Gallagher has also lodged an official complaint about the station’s actions during a live debate.

Rock and Reel, If the Quinns signed assets away for laptops and Anglo had security, why are they not in Court ?
Surely if Anglo had security they would not have been able to do this. This is just more media spin from Anglo, like prime time etc, etc. The Quinns are fighting a nationalised bank therefore the government and I have no doubt they are the underdog. My question is who is Anglo answering to ? They have destroyed the Quinn Group, when is sense going to prevail between the 2 sides ?

RTE/PT seems to reel from one faux pas to the next. If there not subjecting presidential candidates to thinly desguised McCarthyist trials by media, there defaming a residual few good men in a crumbling the Holy Roman Empire. This is not what people pay their license fees for.

Sean Quinn is in trouble because he was greedy and gambled with company money beyond all reason- he put the livelihoods of hundreds at risk because he wanted more billions. He had his reward for enterprise and it wasn't enough for him and his greed ended up taxing the whole state. You might as well praise Bernie Madoff.

So was it not true then that the Quinn's tried to mislead everyone by signing property left right and centre into family members names including boyfriends of family members in an effort to thwart the investigations of their so called wealth ? Sometimes for the price of a laptop at least that's what one of them got for his trouble according to reports in the media

Odd that the Quinns have claimed that RTE is biased against them in the Primetime programme but I note that they have not instructed solicitors to sue for defamation, choosing to complain to the Broadcasting Authority instead. If there was defamation surely they would sue?

The RTE is Irelands Official State Broadcaster but it's biased 'agenda' is being exposed on a regular basis now, and requires investigation by an Independent Body. The standard of its News and Current Affairs is abysmal, and it's Flagship programme" should be renamed "SUB-Primetime". ~~~~ Indeed, "The Montrose Mafia" have been out of order for some time now and must now prepare to sleep with the fishes!
