Whether you like Sean Quinn or not we should consider this. How can a bank that lied about its resources, its financial state and signed off on a false balance sheet pursue anyone for their assets. In particular how can a bank that falsified its accounts pursue an investor for monies owed in regard to shares. This bank does not have any credibility in a court of law. we have been decieved by the corporate spin. I hope Quinn keeps the rest of his empire and i hope Anglo Irish bank will die soon. The sooner the better for us all
What a sad tale! A poor simple farmer's son! Living in a mansion fit for minor royalty! Reminds me of the old song that contains the line 'a poor old broken farmer, Dan O'Hara!!'
