Portia777 -- Where do you come up with the totally absurd, ignorant, wrong idea that over 70% of adoptees end up in prison??? What kind of a nut are you? Are there unscrupulous people sometimes involved in the outer fringe of adoption -- yes. Sadly, the people like the ones conducting the Mexican scam are monstrous. They take advantage of everyone and many people get hurt. But, to blacken the entire adoption community with the tar from a tiny minority of wrongdoers is wrong both factually and morally. condemn the wrongdoers and frauds, do not condemn adoption. The facts are that there are children who are in need of families and there are families desperately wanting children. Bringing them together in legal, moral and humanistic ways cannot be wrong. Families formed through adoption have issues that are unique to adoption. But, all families have "something" that is their unique issue -- alcoholism, death of a parent, drug abuse, divorce, physical abuse and many much worse. In adoption, the issues are known going in and can be dealt with. There are MILLIONS of adoptees who are successfully integrated into their families. As compared with the few psychopaths you mention. Adoption can be a wonderful thing but only if done openly, legally and above all in the "best interest of the child."
No one wants to speak of the dark side of the adoption racket. No one wants to talk about adoptees who have obvious negative outcomes, including adopted serial killers such as David Berkowitz and Ted Bundy, nor the fact that even apparently successful adoptees have abandonment and rejection issues over being adopted -- such as the late entrepeneur-founder of Apple Computer, STEVE JOBS, who is quoted as similarly expressing "unresolved pain" stemming from being adopted. Both famous and infamous adoptes at times demonstrate anti-social behaviors, as detailed in "CHOSEN CHILDREN 2012,"
More legalised child trafficking. Taking from the poor and giving to the needy rich.Considering the knowledge we have in Eire of having our children stolen and sold to USA, who could imagine we could ever do the same? The knowledge of the damage adoption does to children, mothers, fathers, families and still it is a business $$$$$$...with over 70% of adoptees ending up in prison and many murderers. Not a word of this is given to the needy adopters though whose egos are fed into believing they are doing good. All business- like child slavery going back 5,000 years. We are a disgusting lot in Eire to fall for this indoctrination and not reading The Baby Thief, etc
