Our population is too big and our planet cannot support it. Stop pretending that your book you call the bible is some god given mandate to have more humans who will ravage this world of all its resources. Shut up and shut your legs and keep your fly shut. We don't need more people, population control is a brilliant idea and the bible is just a book with some very good and very bad advice written by men who wanted power over sheep like you.

Apart from the anger of the egger's and protestors the more sinister aspect of the Minister, Gilmore, is his promoting of a UNICEF video. Since UNICEF has long ago been taken over by abortion promoters and couple it with the demands by the Eurocrats that the Irish government reduce child support by penalizing families with 'too many children', the Minister Gilmore should be watched with great suspicion. The UN and its various tentacles, particularly its Population Control division, is no friend to Christian families and their choice to have a good sized family. Yes folks, watch Gilmore closely. He has clearly shown his animosity to Catholicism which puts him hand-in-glove with those who wish to dominate and control all nations doing so using Brussels and Geneva and New York. Marxist Socialism in sheep's clothing.

The article is not clear (big surprise) on whether the unemployed man arrested was the one who threw the egg or kicked the BMW. In either case he should be given an award for showing such self-restraint. Really, throwing an egg???

A columnist in an Irish newspaper I read on line put it well. He pointed to the fact that on the same day as young Spaniards were demonstrating in their thousands in Madrid, and in the same week as young Greeks were showing their anger in Athens, the young Irish were getting drunk and vomiting in the streets to "celebrate" the Guinness faux fest "Arthurs Day".
