Is this journalism ? "portly pundit Rush Limbaugh"----
Is this an informed voter? " a pill-head, degenerate gambler"-------- Thank you Nicomax for adding a little intelligent comment.

There is a significant difference between the polls in the so-called 'battleground' states versus the overall national polls. BHO is much more ahead in those states where most of the intense campaigning is going on, but just slightly ahead nationally. It seems that BHO's message, and possibly ground game, is more effective than Mitt's. In the rest of the country where little campaigning is being done people are just going on general impressions. That could change with the national debates.

Why would any responsible voter care what "polls" indicate?
Why would ANYONE listen to a pill-head, degenerate gambler, except for the same entertainment value as provided by the clowns in the circus?

Limbaugh's claims remind me of this state's gubernatorial election in which Frank O'Connor ran against incumbent Rockafeller (1970?). The "New York Daily News" poll showd O'Connor with a comfortable lead a few days before the election and predicted victory for this candidate who was then NYC Council President. But the polls were wrong and Rockfeller was rreelected. In the curent presidential campaign the polls are very probably correct, and those of us who truly love this great nation (in whole military some of us have HONORABLY served) will have to endure 4 more years of hight unemployment and severe deficit spending.
