There's nothing in life that can't be endured better with a cup of tea in you hand.
Dark and strong. The way Catholic ladies gave it to the brits when they first come to the North, in the hope it would poison them. However they liked it so much they stayed.
I've lived in boston thirteen years but still have to have my Irish tea. My poor wife's bladder nearly gave out back home as she learned saying no is useless you have to drink the tea offered resistance is futile.
i love my tea w/milk & brown sugar just before bed to relax & have a good deep sleep.
Ah, the cup a te! Braces you when you are tired and relaxes you when you are stressed. The perfect drink.
I would agree that tea is important to the Irish especially the older generation. Visiting older relations in Ireland one of the first things they ask is "Would you liking a cuppa?". I have tea with my dad Jack here just about afternoon here in the USA. My dad Jack takes his tea with milk while yours truly takes it with Splenda, shocking I know. Of course high tea or supper in Ireland is just called "tea".
That 25% must be people born before 1960.
I drink coffee, but I LOVE, LOVE tea. I always bring home tea from Ireland whenever I go there - forget the souvenirs - buy TEA.
ah go on, go on, go on
