The photos are so sad. As a 2nd generation Irishwoman I've been to Ireland twice and it's hard to see the beautiful places I've seen under water. May God bless all the people who are suffering and protect my family in Co. Galway.

It breaks me Irish heart to see such devastation, but especially to the great people of Ireland. My heart and Prayers go out to every Irishman and families affected by thus terrible storm and flooding.

I guess the government needs to develop better flood control measures for the future. This is another blow to the economy, but then again this could be an opportunity for the unemployed to obtain work on flood control projects!
