wyalusingjohn- I was agreeing with you.
Those polish guys are probably living in Ireland lol.. Its full of them or at least it until the bubble burst in the property market. I notice no one mentioned Sligo--one of the most beautiful counties in Ireland. Full of history and ancient sites as well as Yeats Grave and Ben Bulben and Knocknarae where Queen Maeve's tomb stands at the top and the view is stunning from there. Also visit the Lake Isle of Innishfree on Lough Gill near Sligo. The list goes on and on. And the beauty of Sligo is thats its not as commercialized as Kerry or Cork .
ciaradexy, What part of Glad you left off Blarney Castle was not clear to you?
wyalusingjohn-theres nothing wonderous about Blarney castle. Big, brash and full of tourists all the time.
GeorgeDillon, if you ever do go to Poland, please play some American rap music. I dont want Americans giving Irish people a bad name in Poland.
Very subjective list. Glad to see you left off Balrney Castle.
I have visited seven of the ten sites mentioned. A site in the North I found interesting to walk was the walls of Derry/Londonderry. If one does walk the walls of Derry be warned it is a steep walk.
I live in Ireland and have only visited 2 of those :-(
