Although the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act for Women was the first bill President Obama signed into law in 2009, Rush Limbaugh is not impressed.
According to the Examiner this Thursday, October 18, Limbaugh - who made the headlines this year for calling a woman he disagreed with a 'slut' and a 'prostitute' - claimed that Obama believes women are dumb, stupid, and actually not even people.
It was a eye-popping claim for a man who lost massive numbers of his show's sponsors over his anti-women outburst over Sandra Fluke and her defense of family planning services.
Limbaugh is clearly sensitive about Mitt Romney's 'binders full of women' gaffe at his second debate. Acknowledging it was a gaffe, Limbaugh admitted that Romney's comment was insulting to women, but it was small.
'Women are people. They're not even being treated as people by the Obama campaign. Do you understand, you're being objectified. You're thought of as being dumb and stupid and your emotions can be played upon here. Biden, Obama, every one of their surrogates is doing nothing but insulting you. I'd be tired of it.
'If it's not binders, all you care about is free contraception, all you care about is getting an abortion and having the government pay for it. The way they look at women, the way they see you, all they think you do is have sex, want birth control pills and then want an abortion afterwards. They're gonna make sure that whatever you want in that regard you get,' the pundit claimed.
Then he tried to reframe Romney's 'binders full of women' gaffe.
'And then somebody comes along and asks for resumes of qualified women for meaningful jobs, they'll make fun of that and they'll try to make you women think that they know what's really important to you. Birth control pills and abortion. That's all you care about. They're not even people to 'em.'

The only reason Russ would make a remark like this is in support of "Mitt the Twit". Limbaugh and the Republican Party are the ones who disrespect women. The ones that publicly spew tripe in regard to women are the tip of the iceberg. Check out Akin, Romney, Limbaugh, Mourdock & Kostner, etc. Their views on rape, abortion, birth control, and women's rights are malicious and demonstrate their assumption of dominance over women. Their demeaning attitudes that they have the right to control women is destructive. Because of the carry over of archaic attitudes from many years ago these men have not evolved to accept the reality of today. The politicians who embrace these destructive views should never receive a vote from a woman. Women had to fight for a vote so why waste it on politicians who have an agenda which is against the freedom of women. VOTE OBAMA

I want to comment on another subject that is really important. I am a christan. I have been hearing that some christans are not going to vote for Romney because he is Morman. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. He is a good, moral man. That is what really matters. Someone with moral character.I wanted to get this out so that they can get set straight on this subject.Perhaps you can address this for them.

It is quite obvious few here actually listen to Rush. The words quoted above are a bit slanted against him; they do not show the full context. And I challenge anyone here to actually listen to his show for 3-5 weeks and walk away with the opinion of "slug" or worse. Hoodwinks? Vile slop? Get real; do you really think he'd have an audience if that is accurate? An audience as large as he has? I again challenge anyone to actually listen; I doubt if most of you are brave enough to have their views challenged so accurately, factually and philosophically. Go drink your kool-aid, you useful lemming fools.
Smyrnian | Oct 24, 2012, 11:51 PM EDT
BigDaddy - everyone has a right to their opinion; dissident or not; well informed or not. I see lots of posts here that are "dissident" from my point of view but I am ok with that. I certainly don't wish to stifle it! That's my point.
hollabackgurl | Oct 24, 2012, 10:27 PM EDT
He makes $40 million a year hoodwinking idiots. The only women he encounters are the ones who serve his coffee or fold his bed sheets.
BigDaddy | Oct 24, 2012, 02:11 PM EDT
Smyrnian, are you really ready to defend Rush Limbaugh as a dissident voice?
BigDaddy | Oct 24, 2012, 02:09 PM EDT
Hey Brian, give it a rest, eh? Limbaugh has been spouting vile and disgusting slop for decades now. No one seriously recommended he have his tongue cut out. And why should people who do not agree with the neocons be tolerant any longer? This is a man with the credibility of a garden slug and you are defending him? Well done, Brian.

Who in their right mind would pay any attention to a pill poppin druggie?
rugbyplayer | Oct 24, 2012, 09:08 AM EDT
Rush Limbaugh, jackass of jackasses, proves that the USA sadly is home to millions of other jackasses: his listeners.
Lokelani | Oct 24, 2012, 05:37 AM EDT
No, Rush, I think you think women are stupid enough to believe what you're saying; but we women, you dim-witted drug addict, think you're the dumb and stupid one!!
jamthecat | Oct 23, 2012, 11:38 PM EDT
I thought this was joke. Rush claiming Obama insults women? Seriously? I'd laugh if he wasn't such a vile piece of work...and if so many people didn't listen to him. That Rush has't been sent packing into obscurity reveals just how stupid our country has become.
Seanmor | Oct 23, 2012, 08:18 PM EDT
Could it be that this Limb-bough is in a great Rush to persuade the voters to save the nation from four more years of an Abaminable presidency? If that is so, he may be barking up the wrong branch of the political tree.
McNamara31 | Oct 23, 2012, 07:00 PM EDT
katieherk ...Still peddling the Muslim stuff. Pathetic.
seanomelb | Oct 23, 2012, 05:55 PM EDT

McNamara31 | Oct 23, 2012, 05:44 PM EDT
No Rush, women think you are an ignorant old (rich) man pandering to the worst aspects of your audience.
cillowen | Oct 23, 2012, 04:57 PM EDT
that what limbo thinks - he talks thru is arse
sqeyes48 | Oct 23, 2012, 04:40 PM EDT
Rush is the literal meaning of what my Father used to say, "He just talks to hear his gums beat."
MichaelJTully | Oct 23, 2012, 04:00 PM EDT
Do the producers of his show not allow him to see the play back, or do they not have that facility in their little tin pot station. What does his kids or relatives think of his show, or are they all like him.
alisaann | Oct 23, 2012, 03:59 PM EDT
rush is a LOUD MOUTH....and has NO RESPECT for women what's so ever....he needs taken OFF THE AIR.....the press needs to STOP giving his coverage....maybe then he'd SHUT UP AND GO AWAY. ALISA
eileenkny | Oct 23, 2012, 03:39 PM EDT
Look, Rush is stupid and you just can't fix stupid! I'd be more impressed if Hannity said it; Oh wait-no. He's an idiot too.
hollabackgurl | Oct 23, 2012, 01:38 PM EDT
The man who calls women sluts and prostitutes is now the mouthpiece of feminism. So the war on women's intelligence is actually real.
Smyrnian | Oct 23, 2012, 01:01 PM EDT
Celtic Queen- no dissent allowed? No differing opinions allowed? Stifled independent thought? What are you thinking? (or not thinking).
kubs | Oct 23, 2012, 12:12 PM EDT
Thank you, Rush, for your well thought-out & studious treatise on gender equality. After such insights , I'm sure NOW will offer you an honorary membership.
miamicanes | Oct 23, 2012, 11:54 AM EDT
You mean druggie Russhheee
katieherk | Oct 23, 2012, 11:46 AM EDT
All muslims feel that way about women, Nobama is no different. Rush hit it right on the head! Sorry folks below, he is only "for the women" until he get elected then it's off to the traditional muslim way.
CelticQueenUSA | Oct 23, 2012, 11:06 AM EDT
No Rush, that is YOUR OPINION distorted as a mirror in a fun house. SHUT your _____ mouth PLEASE>
FastEddy | Oct 23, 2012, 10:52 AM EDT
OK, OK, we get it. This clueless 'lectronic snooze outlet IS in the tank for Oh Bummer. You had better get over that. Say hello to President Romney and Vice President Ryan ... as Irish as the White House can get ... unless ya all count the meskin parts.
slainte9 | Oct 23, 2012, 10:44 AM EDT
And I'm supposed to care what Rush Limbaugh thinks because... I get it: thank God, Limbaugh isn't Irish.
forflann | Oct 23, 2012, 10:16 AM EDT
I am amazed this man has sponsers, considering alsmost everything that comes out of his mouth enrages half the nations [women]population who, I might add do must of the shopping,to boycott said sponsers products! Love the proximity to Trump's article...the mouth that walks like a man.
AMurphyJordan | Oct 23, 2012, 10:02 AM EDT
Antoinette, it doesn't help our case when you put "are" twice in the headline!!! But this guy takes the biscuit altogether. I just want to slap him SO hard it's not even funny. It's people like HIM that degrade women. I have met MANY men in a professional environment like him and I can tell you now that when I was through with them on an intellectual level, they were stumped. These men need to put in their place and shown the door. In saying that, keep it up Limbaugh, the anger I have for you is doing wonders for my complexion.
BrianO | Oct 23, 2012, 09:55 AM EDT
@ yourstruly, yes silence all dissent, very tolerant.
hollabackgurl | Oct 23, 2012, 09:34 AM EDT
I bet Limbaugh consults whole binders full of women when he takes his frequent trips to the Dominican Republic.
1661996usmc | Oct 23, 2012, 09:28 AM EDT
Are there enough "Deadheads" out there to actually care what this idiot says.
YoursTruly | Oct 23, 2012, 09:04 AM EDT
I was meaning to say *rather than some misogynist like this. Obama 2012
YoursTruly | Oct 23, 2012, 09:02 AM EDT
Rush opens his mouth almost as much Mittens. They should be silenced. As a woman, I side with Obama and some misogynist. Wasn't this the same man that called that lawyer a sl*t? He is only doing what right wings do best, hating on people. He really shouldn't be able to use his right to speak.
