Tim, give over your whining. If youre anti-immigration then set up an anti-immigration party instead of moaning about it to a bunch of Americans who arent affected by anything that happens in Ireland. Seriously, grow up.

@Reginald: Please explain why I am 'anti-white'? Furthermore, are you against freedom?

@Reginald: Prove there is an ‘intent to destroy’ in whole or in part the Irish. If you are focusing on section (c) ‘Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part’, understand this cannot be understood in isolation, the provisions that it accompanies should be looked at to understand its intent, those provisions are: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; forcibly transferring children of the group to another group. Please set out the ‘conditions of life’ that have been ‘deliberately inflicted’ which are designed to bring about the destruction of the Irish? Furthermore, white does not equal Irish.

@Schon: Would you care to explain Ireland's history of national socialism?

@Tim (the unwise): You question why it is ok to say things like ‘Tibet for Tibetans’ and not ‘Ireland for white Irish people’. To begin with, can you not see that these are different statements? A person saying ‘Tibet for Tibetans’ is seeking independence for that region; a person saying ‘Ireland for white Irish people’ is a bigot who doesn’t understand that skin colour has nothing to do with being Irish. As for the rest of your message… I think you need to get out more -or are you too afraid of all the ‘non-white’ women throwing themselves at you? I doubt it somehow. Deireadh seachtaine deas agat!

"We all know Ireland's history when it comes to bigotry and national socialism."
_________
If you referring to religious bigotry.. sadly Northern Ireland takes the cake for that one.. or maybe you are talking about Limerick and the Jewish population ? In relation to 'national socialism' are you talking about Mosely, the upper classes in England ?

The war is over mate... Indeed there are still after effects of the conflict but hopefully in time they too will disappear

seanomelb, dear me, but do I detect a hint of hypocrisy here? Are you a racist wanting the Brits out of the North? Also your observation that Ireland is an 'independent state' belies the fact that the movement of peoples is legislated in Brussels (and sometimes Strasbourg). We all know Ireland's history when it comes to bigotry and national socialism. We're sure to have the nazi Sinn Fein on the streets once they sort out the Orange Order and the proddies in the North.

Xenophobia can manifest itself in many ways involving the relations and perceptions of an ingroup towards an outgroup, including a fear of losing identity, suspicion of its activities, aggression, and desire to eliminate its presence to secure a presumed purity. Xenophobia can also be exhibited in the form of an "uncritical exaltation of another culture" in which a culture is ascribed "an unreal, stereotyped and exotic quality".

onthetocks, to the Irish, you are English just like these Americans are yanks. Nothing that happens in Ireland affects you.
George, Ireland is in the EU and immigration policies are the same for each country. Again, we do not have an anti-immigration party so until we do, then this is how it is.

dingle, if you want to discuss American policy, you're on the wrong site. What a dope you are. But since you asked me, I'll reply to your questions. Of course Irish and other illegal aliens should be removed from the US, what a stupid question on your part. As to your second question, it's prettyy mjuch just as stupid. Of course peoplpe should be permitted--and this includes Irish--to emigrate to the US. Just like people were always permitted to immigrate to Ireland (you're probably too ignorant to know this, but there has always been immigration into Ireland). American (legal) immigration policy is regulated and planned. There is a range of categories which permits people to come and live here. There are different visas, H, J etc., many of them responding to needs of the American economy. I am no expert on the different visa options, I don't have to be, and no American would claim that the system is perfect. But the important thing is that American immigration policy is made in America, but Irish immigration policy is not made in Ireland, it's made in Warsaw and Kinshasha.
