Like an increasing number of Americans nowadays, it seems even President Barack Obama has a relative with an immigration problem.
According to a report in
The Daily Mail this week, President Obama's 'Uncle Omar' is being held on suspicion of being in the US illegally after he was allegedly being caught for a DUI.
Onyango Obama, 67, an estranged relative of the president who moved to the U.S. in the 1960's, narrowly avoided crashing his 4x4 truck into a police car while being almost two times over the legal limit, prosecutors claimed.
After his arrest a judge ordered Mr Obama be remanded in custody because of an outstanding warrant for his arrest due to his immigration status.

President Obama wrote in his 1995 book Dreams from My Father that Onyango Obama was 'the uncle who left for America 25 years ago and had never come back.'
Immigration and Customs Enforcement has previously ordered that Obama should be deported back to Kenya. In court he pleaded not guilty.

I don't think anything, it's Camelot, the land of the Kennedys, so anything is possible, their most influential Representative is Barney Frank but no one knows who the rest of them are, and their senior senator is John Kerry, a stick figure with too much hair and too little humility, their other senator is a windsock that doesn't move until the wind rises and he takes the easy way. Massachusetts is correctly labeled a commonwealth, that's kind of what socialism is. If England wants it back, they're welcome.

there appears to be only one territory from where illegal entry from it is either overlooked, or impossible of being regarded as such. We all know the specials who are deemed our superiors.

My God, colkelley, under what rock do you live and what decade? How can you be so rude as to say that... "black people are disadvantaged, under-employed and under-educated?" That is a terrible racist remark and totally wrong. I'd hate to live where you live if that's what you think. Did you stop thinking after the 1960's? You are stuck in the past.

The comments concerning President Obama all amaze me. I think a lot of people watch the so called 'objective' Fox News too much.

"Immigration and Customs Enforcement has previously ordered that Obama should be deported back to Kenya." Let's face it, we do not need immigration reform, we need INS reform. Fire them all & hire employees who will enforce our laws. Any citizen in any city can tell them where to find the illegegal aliens (yea, I know this is not PC). This story will be swept under the rug (just as the one about his aunt was)and nothing will be done. He is here since the 1960's? Fifty years of INS incompetence and ineffectiveness!! Our laws are jokes to these illegals, that is why they keep flooding in.

What's with the "undocumented". He's here ILLEGALLY. Let's get it straight. The only illegals that should be allowed to stay are those who were brought here as children and who have known nothing else but the US. They are essentially Americans. Other than that I have no sympathy for those who bypass legal means and BREAK THE LAW to stay. I have friends in England who would LOVE to come to the US, but because they will not break the law their chances are slim to none. Oh, and Obama has NOT shown the correct birth certificate. If there is no deception, why does he not just produce it? That's the million dollar question.

I see now the motivation for "immigration reform" - just like back when Jimmy Carter issued blanket amnesty for draft dodgers which "just happened" to include those discharged for marijuana dealing (his nephew, specifically), Obama wants "reform" so his family members can remain. Of course, there is also the Dems desire to create ANOTHER group of people beholden to them who can be extorted to vote a straight Democratic ticket ("If you don't vote to keep us in office those EVIL conservatives will take away everything you 'deserve.'" After all, 50 years ago when the Republicans headed up the civil rights legislation which Al Gore's Southern Democrat Senator father opposed, Black Americans were disadvantaged, under-employed, and undereducated...and now after voting straight Democratic for 50 years they are...disdvantaged, under-employed, and under-educated...maybe there is a lesson to be learned there.

Maybe we should have checked Obama's papers too.
