Polish Dad-of-two in serious condition after acid attack outside Dublin home

Ron, I'm no lover of Pak immigration, but that's unfair. In fact a generation ago when I lived in Manhattan there was a famous case when some (American) jerk threw acid on his girlfriend's face. Maybe someone will remind us of the details, it was a big case in the media for a while, late 1980s, I would guess. And I've seen it happen several times in Latin America recently. The only thing I'm sure of is that an Irish judge will deal very leniently with the culprit if he's found.

This attack has all the hallmarks of Moslem hatreds. The buggers do this to their women in Pakistan for even looking at another man or dissing their husbands. God knows what the poor Polish bloke had done to upset them.

Quite right, merefalow. I get the feeling it's on the increase. I've seen quite a few cases in recent years, in different countries. But I bet some stupid Irish judge will just rap the culprit on the knuckles if he's ever caught.
