It states; "Own your own Irish Castle for just $62,000" and then proceeds to say "will be sold at auction with a reserve price of just $62,000 (€50,000). How exactly is a reserve price at auction and then own your own castle for $62,0000 the same? Although the Irish economy is a wreck and real property values in the country are drastic to say the least I think most of us get that the going rate at auction will bid this one helluva of a lot higher then 50,000 euro. Is this an intentional mis-direction?

Sorry, but with the name "White's Castle", I don't think there will be many takers in the USA, except for those addicted to "sliders".

esatdigiwank, good post. The article didn't say, but I'm kind of spoiled to liking heat, running water, and electricity from good plumbing and wiring, not Mother Nature, in my place of residence. Still, any disorderly guests could be dispatched to the dungeon. LOL

Wonder are the iron manacles in the dungeons still intact. Or are the dungeons large enough to cram in all the 'poverty-developers, b#nkers, Soldiers of Infamy (FF) members. Has got a strong draught wafting in, much like the countless flats, houses that were rushed up.
