@badolan McCain is a war hero but has proven to be less than honorable in the last few years. He has been willing to change every stand he took on every issue in order to pander for votes, he thrust Palin on to the country in his cynical ploy to use her as VP to bring in votes from the GOP base - with no thought about what the ramifications would be to the country. And finally, he has been less than gracious since losing.

Upon close examination, you may notice that Sarah always looks like she either just smelled a fart or farted herself.
I'm just saying ....

McCain is a war hero and an honorable man and I respect him for his service to our country. In contrast, Palin is a publicity seeking farce on two legs. Independent voters will flock away from her. She is in this to sell her books and to keep herself in front of the cameras. She is not a serious candidate.

Sarah is as much fun as a "Slinky" ....... I like her but wouldn't vote her in as Dog Catcher. I could cahnge my mind if she would agree to take the Graduate Record Examination and score high enough to get into Harvard. I'm flexible.

@Bubba - There is nothing "feminist" about Palin. Just being a woman in politics does not make her a feminist, when in fact, her political ideology is opposite the best interests of women. The only hope she has of winning is if all the smart people in the US are suddenly lifted to heaven during the new rapture date of October 21st. If that's the case, then you can have her.

Of course, feminist firebrand & conservative queen Sarah Palin will defeat Obama in 2012. Her star is ascendant, his is rapidly fading.

hahahahahaha Well, look at it this way, McCain thought HE could beat Obama too... his lack of cop on is why he lost, that and the fact that he picked Palin as his runningmate, a stunt that was the last straw for many hold outs who were still giving him the benefit of the doubt.

McCain is an empty shell compared to the man he once was. I still can't fathom, that in 2008 he knowingly tried to put this inept no nothing one bullet away from the presidency. And when McCain says of Palin “I’ve never seen anyone as mercilessly and relentlessly attacked" You’ve got to be joking John! That's all she did, nonstop "for you" on the campaign trail, while you smiled and kept your hands clean of it.
