It is a great story and I will him continued success. I do have one questions thought, he was 490lbs and lost 280lbs, yet it says he "hopes" to reach his target weight of 252lbs? He should have passed that by long ago on the way to the 280lb loss.

Great story - we need more like this - his future is strong and positive - hopefully others take inspiration from his story and realize that sometimes the last choice/only choice you think you have, isn't the one you thought it was. He could be a great candidate to talk to others feeling disillusioned - you believe in someone who's been there and come back from the brink. Great man! And a great brother for encouraging him!

Wonderful! He is a very strong young man. It takes so much courage to go on when you're depressed. He has faced it down, and now he's found a prupose that will serve him well, by helping raise funds for the rape crisis center. He also has helped other seriously depresssed people by turning his life around. Keep up the good work!
