Ok its not stateside, but deserves a mention just in case any of you arrive on my little patch. Its called Mileys and its in Blessington West Wicklow. Its owned and run by the warrior landlady Ethel, she stands at 5' and has run it with an iron fist for the last 30 odd years, Ive had the best craic there since I moved to the area 28 years ago. Her father-in-law Jimmy put me out 33 years ago for kissing, I was only 17. The same guys fight every sun night over the pool, they are in their 50's/60's and have been doing it for the last 30 odd years, we have sing-songs, debates, and agro, but you will get the most warmest welcome (and interrogation) if you visit.
