Great Irish cow jailbreak – Daisy opens gates with tongue to free C.O.Ws – VIDEO

This funny story took me back many years to the farm in Mayo where I was born and raised. We has an ass, a big jack named Coco. When Coco decided it was time to make little Cocos he would make his escape at night from the bottom field by the railway to the closed iron gate by the main Dublin-Ballina road. I could not understand why so often I would find the gate open and no Coco. Laying in wait one night I could not believe my eyes. Coco approached the gate and without hesitation looped his heavy lower lip on the pull-back bar, dragged it back, then put a front hoof inside the lowest rung on the gate and backed away pulling the gate open as he went. I never regarded Coco in quite the same way again. The solution of course was to padlock the pull-back bar but I figured if I did this he would just find the key. He made lots of Cocos!

mamaginnty. These aren't ordinary cows.They obviously have suffered some form of British interment and have evolved a high degree of intelligence. ;)
