Even tho I do not keep to a Kosher or Halal dietary law, in fact will consume almost anything except gin (but tha's another story), what bothers me abouut these traces of horse or pork in the beef, is that it indicates that the processing plant does not thorouughly clean its equipment between runs. This increases the chance of a real contamination by bacteria or fungi. My heavenly fate may or may not be affected by what I eat, but my earthly body sure is.

Consuming pork is a violation of Islamic rules. In fact this rule and others is a requirement of all people that follow the Old Testament too,but these rules are conveniently ignored to make life simple and sideline religion. That is why the Old Testament is also sidelined and it was the foundation stone of all monolithic religions. Go figure!!!!
