Antoinette Kelly writes above about "the so-called God particle" but there is no such particle. Physicists loathe this tabloid creation and the physicist after whom the possible Higgs particle is named, Peter Higgs, also finds the term "God particle" repugnant.

A pity the faster-than-light neutrino turned out to be a false alarm. That would have been quite exciting, since it would correspond to travelling back in time.
