I suppose this is as good a time as any to question the propriety of honoring Bill Clinton as an "Irish American". No geneologist or historian has ever been able to verify his self-serving claim that he's of Irish ancestry. Memo to WASPs Bill Gates and Warren Buffett: if you want another easy-to-get trophy for your mantelpiece, write Irish America magazine and claim you're Irish. The magazine will surely reciprocate in order to elevate the attention to their organization.
