Irish soldier asks New York star Azealia Banks out on a date on YouTube - Video
Dubliner Dermot wants to bring her for a drink, as soon as he gets out of the Guianese jungle
Known simply as Dermot, an Irish soldier in the French Foreign Legion, was inspired by a US marine who actually got a date with Mila Kunis and has taken to YouTube to ask rapper Azealia Banks out on a date.
According to his YouTube post, Dermot is on duty with the French Foreign Legion in French Guiana. However, his plan, once his service in the jungle comes to end, is to go to New York and take Azealia Banks out for a night on the town.
In his YouTube blurb he says, “Inspired by the US marine who posted a video from Afghanistan (successfully) asking Mila Kunis out on a date, I decided to do my own video from my French Foreign Legion base in French Guiana asking the super-awesome Azealia Banks if she might be free for a drink.”
Stranger things have happened and who knows, the singer, rapper and song writer, formerly known as Miss Bank$, might just show him around “The City that Never Sleeps.” She is from Harlem after all.
Mila Kunis was certainly eager to go on a date with US Marine Sgt Moore, last year. So who knows Dermot, you might be in with a chance. Good luck!
