Ireland must submit abortion ‘action plan’ to European officials

Three months remain until the Republic of Ireland must issue a substantive plan for how it intends to deal with abortion, in accordance with a 2010 European Court of Human Rights ruling. The plan is due only weeks after a panel of experts appointed by the government to assess the issue will report back with their recommendations.

After a series of outbursts that one senior party colleague called 'increasingly erratic and ill-advised' Lord Ken Maginnis, the former Ulster Unionist Party whip in the House of Lords, has sent a condemnatory email to a Conservative Party think-tank that supports same-sex marriage.

The Script to kick off headline tour at Radio City Music Hall

The Script, Ireland's biggest band since U2 (who are also their mentors) have just released their new single Hall Of Fame, featuring hit maker will.i.am. The new track is culled from their forthcoming album titled #3, which is set to be released on October 9th.
