Nadine from England walks away with the U19 trophy

Results continue to be announced into the night at the Dolphin Hotel and Resort, Orlando, Florida, as day one of the largest ever installation of the North American Irish Dancing Championships draws to a close.

Michaela Hinds, of Ontario, Canada scooped this year’s top place in the Girls Under 15A category, while Sarah Oldam of New Jersey was announced winner of the Under 15B category shortly before nine.

Nadine Martin, of Birmingham, England has just been announced victor of the girls’ under 19 category.

Frances Dunne, competitor 120, from The Academy, England, has been announced winner of the girls' under 20 category, the second womens' medal for England tonight. This brings to a close tonight's awards ceremony.
