What is a cache?
This is your computer's memory of the pages you have viewed.  When you go to a page you have already seen, your computer will pull it from your cache rather than go out to the worldwide web.  If you've had problems on that page previously the chances are you will again because of the cache history.  By clearing the cache, when you go to that page the computer has to pull it from the worldwide web and so you get a fresh copy and the chance to do what you want. How do I clear my cache?

How do I clear my cache? If you use:

Internet Explorer go to Tools (on the top horizontal bar) then to Internet Options, then on Temporary Internet Files (about halfway down the General page) on Delete Files.  This can take a few minutes to clear so don't worry if the page seems to freeze for a while.

Modzilla Firefox, go to Tools, then Private Data and select what you wish to remove by un-ticking those items you don't want deleted.
